Experience the Arctic like never before on a full-day journey to the Norwegian coastal town of Kirkenes. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive as we travel through snowy forests, open fells, and rugged fjord landscapes. Along the way, we’ll stop for a plentiful breakfast and give you time to capture the beauty of the north with photo breaks in the most picturesque spots. In Kirkenes, you’ll join a professional local team for an unforgettable King Crab Safari. After being provided warm clothing and safety instructions, you’ll hop onto a snowmobile-sled and glide across the frozen fjord. Together with your guide, you’ll help pull up the crab traps, learn about the biology and history of the legendary Arctic King Crab, and snap photos with your impressive catch. Returning to the Snow Resort, your guide prepares the crab fresh for you at the unique Teina restaurant. Enjoy your feast Northern-Norwegian style—served with bread, butter, mayonnaise, and lemon. After your meal, you’ll also have a chance to meet the resort’s reindeer and huskies before we begin our return drive. This tour combines breathtaking landscapes, authentic Arctic culture, and one of the most delicious seafood experiences in the world. Important Note: This is a private tour with private transportation, however the King Crab excursion itself in Norway is a shared group activity operated by a local provider. Cancellations & No-Shows Refunds are processed based on the following timeline: - More than 24 hours before start: 50% refund. - Less than 24 hours or No-show: No refund. Pick-up Policy: If guests fail to arrive at the agreed pick-up point within 30 minutes of the scheduled time and cannot be reached, the booking will be treated as a no-show.
